Typically refiners practice simple foam collapse test to test the extent of contamination and the need to change activated carbon filter bed in amine system. Perhaps TOC analysis can help which then can be used to back calculate extent of HC present in contaminated amine after discounting for TOC contribution by pure amine in use. It is worth carrying out an audit to pinpoint sources of HC ingress and prevent such. GE WPT team can assist. Good luck.
