Our topping refinery's fuel gas line to vertical demister knockout drum system got choked and corroded. Our feed doesn't contain any sulfur. What might be the problem?

Low pH water might entrain with the fuel gas which might be the root cause of corrosion.

I would be extremely surprised if your feed has no sulfur. Crude oil can be very low in S but is unlikely to have 0 sulfur. H2S can be thermally formed in the heater and go out with the overhead gas stream to fuel. You can also have chlorides although they would normally go with the overhead boot water.
