Rich amine from bottom of amine absorber column is flashed in small vessel where light HC gases absorbed by amine are removed. Rich amine after the flashing is then heated to ~100-110°C in lean-rich exchanger and then fed to stripper column/regenerator. Heat is supplied to the column by reboiler, acid gases are removed from the rich amine. Amine leaving bottom of the stripper column is free from acid gases (acid gas content according to thermodynamic equilibrium) and ready to use for the absorption of acid gases in absorber column.

If you have removed the acid gas from the rich amine by distillation, That step, with the associated filtering, has regenerated the amine and it is ready for the absorbing step once again.
