What is the suitable configuration of Deisohexanizer column to produce Pharma Grade hexane? We have existing DIH column which was designed to separate C5 & C6 isomers from overhead, unconverted n-hexane from side cut as recycle and Cyclohexane, methyl cyclohexane, c7+ components from bottom of the column. Now, we are planning to reconfigure DIH column to separate Pharma Grade hexane. New column should be able to separate PGH during PGH production and should separate isomerates properly during normal gasoline mode.
