In the crude coluumn , I want to put one more side draw. To allow for draw tray, how much tray does one have to actually remove from the column to accommodate this modification?

This is a question for a tray vendor, but I will try to throw some light on it.
I suppose that you want to use the active tray for partial draw off. You can use for this purpose downcomer an install downcomer trapout.
Installing downcomer trapout will cause decrease in spacing between tray below and trapout bottom. Decrease in spacing will depend on draw off nozzle diameter, which should be designed for self venting flow.
This decrease in spacing can cause removing tray below to accommodate installation of trapout.
Real answer on this question can be given by tray vendor after reviewing your data.......
